1. Install CCCP.
Make sure you are using the latest version and install with default settings. Picture Guide Installation below.

2. Disable H264 under ffdshow settings.
Because we are going to use CoreAVC for decoding h264 rather than ffdshow included in CCCP.

3. Install CoreAVC.
Reason: CoreAVC is faster than ffdshow, so it uses less CPU power.
Why CCCP have no CoreAVC: CoreAVC is payware (and we are spreading the illegal version lol).
Warning: When installing, untick Haali Media Splitter. CCCP’s Haali Media Spliter is better. Picture Guide Installation below.

4. Install Real Alternative Lite and Quicktime Lite.
So that you can play Real Media files (rm, rmvb) and QuickTime files (3gp, mov). If you don’t play those kind of files, you can ignore installing these.

5. Use Media Player Classic included in CCCP for perfect playback.
Other player sucks. That’s all.

6. Any problem means something is wrong with your computer. Come to CCCP Forum for help.
Yup. CCCP is perfect codec pack for perfect playback. If there is codec pack better than this, you are welcome to argue with us. I challenge you for debating with us.

CCCP Installation Guide:
1. Choose Full Installation.
All this components are CCCP’s tweak, so if you use other version, uninstall that version.

2. Tick “Register Extensions in WMP” if you use WMP.
Tick “Enable thumbnails” if you want it on mkv and mp4.

3. Make sure to reset all settings if you are upgrading. It’s important.

4. Untick “h264″ if you want to use CoreAVC.

5. Tick “Autoload VSFilter” if you use WMP.
Set your “File Assosiation” to either MPC or ZP.

CoreAVC Installation:
- CUDA is hardware-acceleration for CoreAVC using your VGA. It’s only supported on certain VGAs. As it’s still new and many tests show it’s broken, it’s recommended to just disable it in CoreAVC Configuration. If you want to test it, you are welcomed to enable it.

- Don’t install the Haali Media Splitter as CCCP’s one is better. That’s all.

Install Real Alternative Lite and QuickTime Lite
- Just next until it’s finished. Nothing’s else.
